For the first time, the Olympic champion in figure skating Roman Kostomarov put a trial prosthesis on his right hand and wrote the word „mother“.
He is expected to receive permanent prosthetics on both hands this winter. It is specified that they will be provided by the same company that previously helped Kostomarov with leg prostheses.
„At the moment, the hands are not ready for permanent prosthetics. But there is a possibility that it will happen already in the winter,“ the Russian media wrote.
A few days ago, the great athlete published a video in which he is seen writing on a piece of paper: „Mother“ and a big heart. „The first word… in my new life,“ says Roman.
