The heroine was caught on video trying to load a mosquito net into the taxi, which had flown out of the window of a neighboring building as a result of the blast wave at the Zagorsk Optical-Mechanical Plant.

The lady had opened the back door of the car when another woman pounced on top of her and picked up the stolen trophy.

„What does rolling mean, if it’s rolling, it’s probably somebody’s,“ says a male voice, possibly the video’s operator. Under the comments of indignation at her action, the Muscovite retreats back in the taxi.

The explosion at the plant went off on Tuesday, and the blast wave was so strong that all the windows in the surrounding buildings were blown out.

The Zagorsk Optical-Mechanical Plant has an 86-year history and among its pride is „the favorite scope of the General Secretary of the CPSU Leonid Brezhnev“. The plant is part of the Rostec company, a leading developer and manufacturer of military optics.

The bodies of 10 people were found at the site of the explosion, and the death toll may rise.

12 people are missing without a trace.

A total of 60 people were injured, 8 are reported missing.

A huge explosion occurred at the Zagorsky Optical-Mechanical Plant in Sergiev Posad, Moscow Region.

Russian media likened the sight to a „nuclear mushroom“.

As a result of the explosion, a huge mushroom of thick smoke was formed over the plant, which is located 73 kilometers from the capital of Russia. The windows of hundreds of nearby buildings were broken. Others are partially destroyed.

According to Russian media, it is an „exploded warehouse of pyrotechnics“.

Streets near the plant are closed to traffic. According to initial data, 22 people were injured in the explosion, but it is possible that there are buried people at the scene of the accident, the clearing of which has not yet begun.

There are dozens of ambulances at the scene, but according to the medics, their number is not enough, writes the BAZA Telegram channel.

The plant in Sergiev Posad is part of the Rostech consortium and produces equipment for the Russian army. It produces infrared night vision devices for soldiers, optical sights, binoculars and other precision equipment.

Landings and take-offs were temporarily restricted

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said another drone strike had taken place against the Russian capital and the region, temporarily disrupting traffic at Vnukovo Airport, Reuters reports. A number of flights have been diverted to other airports.

„At the moment, the attacks have been stopped by the air defense forces. All detected drones have been eliminated,“ Sobyanin said on his Telegram channel, Nova TV reported.

There were no reports of casualties or injuries, Sobyanin added.

Vnukovo’s landings and takeoffs were temporarily restricted „for technical reasons beyond the airport’s control,“ the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia (Rosaviatsia) announced. The restrictions remained in place until 8 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), the agency said. Normal operation of the airport has since been restored.

„Rosaviatsia“ announced that the rest of Moscow’s airports are also working.
