]]>The Israeli-flagged civilian ship Ams1 was the first to break through the Russian blockade in the Black Sea and enter the Ukrainian arm of the Danube River.
This is the first ship that crossed the Black Sea on a direct course to Ukraine after Russia’s threats to impose a blockade on all ships heading to Ukrainian ports, Aktualno.com reported.
As we wrote earlier today, three ships – Ams1, Sahin 2 and Yilmaz Kaptan, respectively under Israeli, Greek and Turkish/Greek flags, today announced on the automatic destination system a direct course to Ukraine without the Russian Black Sea Fleet stopping them.

Earlier pictures showed the ships crossing the Turkish straits and then the Black Sea.
But the latest screenshots published by the military blog Militarnyi show how the Israeli Ams1 has already entered the Danube, effectively breaking the Russian Black Sea blockade imposed by the bombing of the port of Odessa since July 25.
According to Flightradar, the ships were protected by a US P8 Poseidon aircraft, specially designed for spy missions and „hunting ships and submarines“, as it refueled over Romania. The aircraft was also accompanied by a Forte12 RQ-4 reconnaissance drone. In addition, the pictures show four other ships that are following Ams1 and have either dropped anchor already or will soon anchor in Danube ports.
I initially posted this as well. But taking a closer look those ships have joined the queue in Sulina, Romania like many other vessels. They have not entered Ukrainian waters. https://t.co/O4mU0dBYul pic.twitter.com/O76IpAYgYN
