James Corden aired his last show days ago.
Adele was a guest.
The Gavin & Stacey star shocked her fans this year. He announced that he was stepping down from his role.

He said the reason was personal. Corden is tired and wants to spend more time with his family.
Many did not believe this would happen.
Drew Barrymore expressed how much she will miss James on screen.
„We’re going to miss you,“ she wrote.

Drew Barrymore and James Corden are good friends and colleagues.

They have appeared on each other’s shows several times and have praised each other’s work. Corden was a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2020 and 2021, and Barrymore was a guest on The Late Late Show with James Corden in 2017 and 2018. They also collaborated on a virtual musical number for The Drew Barrymore Show in 2020, where they sang „Suddenly Seymour“ from Little Shop of Horrors. Corden called Barrymore „one of the most wonderful people“ he knows and Barrymore said Corden was „a ray of sunshine“.
