The first science fiction book I read as a kid. Really liked Bradbury’s writing style.

He’s a wonderful writer. In my later school years here in the UK I was introduced to The Golden Apples of the Sun, a book of short stories, which remains my favorite of Bradbury’s. A particular tale called Zero Hour sticks in my mind…

I remember first reading this in HS, it was so good I couldn’t stop reading it. As I put it down and looked out side, the dawn had broken and I felt I had been on Mars all night. Read it on multiple occasions since!

I love The Martian Chronicles and read it as regularly as I can! I also enjoy the 1980 miniseries starring Rock Hudson and Darren „Kolchak“ McGavin, but the book’s waaay better.

• Place the washed elderflowers, cleaned of leaves and stalks, in a deeper pot. Sugar and sliced lemons are added successively, and the contents of the citric acid packet are poured in. The ingredients are poured with 3 liters of cold water (preferably mineral or spring) and left in a cool place to stand for 1 day (24 hours).

• The mixture is then stirred well several times and tasted. It is left to sit for another 12 or 24 hours, depending on whether the juice is ready to consume to your liking.

• When you judge that the juice is ready, it is necessary to strain it (once or twice) and pour it into appropriate glass bottles with caps. Store in the fridge and consume within the next few days!
