An earthquake shook Western Bulgaria at exactly 3:26 p.m. According to data from the European Seismological Center (EMSC) and BAS, it had a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter is in the region of Plovdiv. The shock was also felt in Asenovgrad and Sofia.

According to BAS, the earthquake was 5 km deep, and according to EMSC – 2 km.

A secondary earthquake with a magnitude of 2.1 was registered again in Plovdivsko at 3:32 p.m.
