Hyman Roth is a fictional character and the main antagonist in the 1974 film The Godfather II. He is also a minor character in the 2004 novel The Godfather Returns.

This is the same house where Michael Corleone visited Roth and talked to him about their business in Cuba.

Roth was a Jewish gangster, investor and business partner of Vito Corleone and later his son Michael Corleone. It is based on the famous mobster and gambling kingpin Meyer Lansky.

He is played by Lee Strasberg,  who was suggested the role by Al Pacino, his former acting teacher.
