Terry Crews is an American actor, television host, artist and former American football player.

He is known for his roles as Julius Rock in the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris (2005-2009) and Terry Jeffords in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013-2021).

Terry has also appeared in films such as Friday After Next (2002), White Chicks (2004), Idiocracy (2006), Blended (2014), The Expendables series (2010-2014) and Rumble (2021).

Heplayed defensive end and linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins, as well as in the World League of American Football (WLAF) for the Rhein Fire and college football at Western Michigan University.

Terry Crews has hosted America’s Got Talent from season 14 to the present. He is also the host of Champions 1, Champions 2, Extreme 1 and All-Stars 1. He supports and encourages the participants with his energy and humor.

Terry sometimes joins the participants’ performances or has his own performances. For example, he sang a song about himself along with the comedy group Lew.
