Israel’s ambassador to Russia, Simon Halperin, said that Alla Pugacheva had successfully integrated into the country.
In an interview with TASS, she also added that she considers the most successful singer in the USSR and Russia to be an Israeli citizen, as well as other emigrants from Russia.
„They are all Israelis in Israel, that is, they are integrated,“ said Simon Halperin.
The ambassador added that Alla Pugacheva does not experience any problems and periodically plays in the Gesher Theater, where performances are performed in Russian.
Alla Pugacheva left Russia with her husband Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) after the start of the special operation, for which she was repeatedly criticized by her colleagues who remained in Russia.
In March, Pugacheva recorded a video message in which she declared that „normal people will not return.“
Russian authorities then declared her a foreign agent.
