A priest with a golden cross attacked Zelensky’s motorcade in Sofia

A curious incident, which the television stations missed in their communal reports about Zelensky’s visit, was released on social networks.

Action in Sofia. The motorcade of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was subjected to an unexpected attack in the center of the capital yesterday.

From a video circulated on social networks, it can be seen that despite the massive police presence, which cordoned off the entire area of the route of the head of state, a priest with a cross is thrown against the cars.

The incident took place at the intersection in front of Sofia University. On the footage, the man can be heard shouting: „Anathema, Zelensky, fascist Ukraine, Western Satanists“.

He ran along the roadway and waved a large cross in front of the president’s cars, but failed to get close to Zelensky, and the motorcade flew past him at breakneck speed.

The priest was immediately detained and pulled away from the canvas.

It turns out that the man is the same man who also attacked Kiril Petkov with the representatives of „We continue the change“ during the return of the already fulfilled mandate for a regular government on June 6 of this year.

Atanas Stefanov, who pretends to be a subdeacon, was at the protest by the fountain in front of the Presidency when he similarly threw himself at the politicians getting out of the limousines, but was again detained by the police.

It is said that the activist in question is the chairman of the „Friends of Russia“ civic association.
