A 13-year-old resident of the Tyumen region in Russia gave birth to a son by her brother, who is 25 years old, Russian media reported.
The girl and those around her found out about the pregnancy only in the eighth month, reported 72.ru.
They thought the girl was just gaining weight, witnesses say.
However, the young man was declared insane.
He is undergoing compulsory treatment in a psychiatric hospital in the Isetski region.
Recently, the district court extended the relevant measure to 25-year-old B.
— In 2020, B. was released from criminal liability by the court of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District for committing actions prohibited by the criminal law, which fall under the composition of the crimes provided for in paragraph „b“ of part 4 of Art. 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The girl had just turned 13 when she had a relationship with her brother.
Nine months later, the girl gave birth.
DNA testing confirmed that the child’s father is her brother.
The man was released from criminal liability because, according to the conclusion of the forensic psychiatric examination, he was declared insane and must undergo compulsory treatment in a psychiatric hospital, reports the Iset District Court.
