29.06.2023 at night at Beach Bar Mania in Sunny Beach, his daughter was charged 220 BGN – 110 EUR by card instead of 15 BGN – 8 EUR. When trying to talk the owner into canceling the payment and redoing it, the restaurant owner punches one of the guys in the group, then they sit down to calmly discuss things and fix the transaction, the owner, visibly inadequate, grabs and throws one of the girls to the ground.

They were told that the owner of the establishment was high on cocaine.

The police are called, they come and watch the clips, they just start laughing and smoking cigarettes. No arrests, no refunds, not even an apology.

They went to the police station, where they were told that there was no interpreter, to go again today. So why on the sea, where 90% are foreigners, should there be someone who knows English, who needs…

„In connection with a signal spread on social networks, referring to an interception regarding the value of an account in a beach establishment in Sunny Beach and passivity on the part of the police officers from RU Nessebar, who came to check the signal, we inform you that both parties are invited to the district administration to clarify the case, but they categorically refused.

In the patrol team, both officers speak English, but the nature of their work does not involve clarifying cases on the spot. That is why they sent an invitation to both countries for a visit to RU Nessebar, but did not receive confirmation from the invitees.

The claims that one side – English tourists visited RU Nessebar to file a complaint, but were returned due to lack of an interpreter, do not answer the truth. Qualified English language translators are working continuously in the Nessebar RU and no complainant is returned without his report being taken into account. Another issue is that the English tourists did not visit RU Nessebar at all, as can be seen from the recordings from the security cameras located nearby and in the district administration itself.

We urge both citizens and the media, when disseminating information regarding police actions, to refer to reliable sources and provide data corresponding to objective reality. Otherwise, false information will be circulated, damaging the professional actions and image of law enforcement officers“.
