Huge discovery 4,000 meters deep next to the Titanic

Suspected human remains have been found among the wreckage of the tourist bathyscaphe that disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean near the remains of the sunken ship „Titanic“, the US Coast Guard said in a statement, quoted by France Press, BTA reported.

That wreckage and recovered debris will be analyzed, which should provide „crucial elements to understanding the cause of this tragedy,“ said Jason Neubauer, who is leading the Coast Guard’s investigation into the matter.

The Titan, a small submersible about 6.5 meters long, operated by a private company, went down on June 18 to allow its passengers to observe the wreckage of the Titanic, and was due to surface seven hours later. but contact with him was lost less than two hours after he left. A massive rescue operation was then launched in an attempt to save the passengers in the bathyscaphe.

He was supposed to have a 4-day supply of air, but it turns out that shortly after his dive he was hit by a „catastrophic implosion“ that killed all five passengers on the spot.

The wreckage of the Titan, found on the sea floor about 500 meters from the wreckage of the Titanic and at a depth of almost 4,000 meters, was washed ashore yesterday in St. John’s, Newfoundland, in eastern Canada. They are now to be transferred by a US Coast Guard ship to a US port where investigators will be able to analyze them
