Celine Dion saddened her fans all over the world: we have to announce today the cancellation of the Courage World Tour

Her Courage World Tour is cancelled

Courage World Tour is Celine Dion’s fourteenth concert tour in support of her English-language studio album Courage (2019).

This was to be her first world tour in over a decade, following the Taking Chances World Tour. The tour kicked off in Quebec City, Canada on September 18, 2019. Unfortunately, all tour dates have been canceled through 2023 and 2024 due to the singer’s health issues. Tickets for the canceled dates will be refunded. We hope Celine recovers soon and continues to delight us with her music.

She wrote a sad post on Facebook:

„It is with tremendous disappointment that we have to announce today the cancellation of the Courage World Tour.
„I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%. It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!” – Celine xx…
Tickets purchased for the forty-two canceled dates will be refunded via the original point of sale. For further ticket inquiries or options, ticket holders should reach out to their original point of purchase.

Celine, all your devoted fans know that you are the greatest female artist of all time. We want you to get 100% well again, as that is the only time you wish to perform to your fans. We will wait until you reach that level, and when you have, we will be absolutely ecstatic to see you perform the way we know you can. So please take care and I hope your Medical Team will help you to regain your strength in the not too distant future. Dear Celine, I just saw your video about your health and I wanted to express that I will be praying for your health! You are a remarkable person, always so sincere, genuine and very kind. Your voice is like no other. I’ve been to at least 125 concerts and your concert was one of my favorites. Thanking God you have the best physician helping you. You will beat this! Always remember that the public loves you and you have so much love around you.

Celine Dion suffers from a rare neurological condition called stiff personality syndrome (SPS), which is characterized by muscle stiffness and spasms, increased sensitivity to stimuli such as sound and light, and emotional stress that can trigger muscle spasms. It’s causing difficulty walking and singing, she said, meaning she won’t be able to perform planned shows in the UK and mainland Europe next year.
