Beckham looks after bees at his country estate in the Cotswolds, where he moved with his family in March 2020.
He has eight hives that he assembled himself and stocked with bees.
Beckham shared on Instagram that he was very excited about his first copper mining.

David Beckham is a beekeeper because he likes to spend time with his bees, take care of them, observe them and collect their honey.
This is one of his latest hobbies that he started during the quarantine due to the coronavirus.
He sees bee care as an antidote to the crazy lifestyle in London and Miami.
He also plans to turn his hobby into a successful business and sell honey under his own brand.
World Bee Day is celebrated on May 20.
This date was chosen because it is the birthday of Anton Janša, who is considered a pioneer in modern beekeeping. World Bee Day was announced by a UN resolution in December 2017 and aims to raise awareness of the importance of bees and their protection.
Bees play a critical role in the ecosystem and agriculture, being responsible for the pollination of many plant species, including many agricultural crops.
However, bees face serious threats from environmental changes, pesticide use, disease and parasites. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures to preserve bee populations and develop sustainable beekeeping.
Besides beekeeping, Beckham continues with football.
He has his own soccer club in Miami called Inter Miami. He is the owner and president of the club that competes in Major League Soccer.
Beckham has expressed his desire to bring big stars such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar to his team.
He has been in talks with some of them and hopes to convince them to come to Miami.
