The scooter exploded in the home of the Bulgarian showbiz star guitarist Tsvetan Nedyalkov yesterday.
During this time his son was in the bathroom and it saved his life.
„Everything is fine. We are alive, we are healthy. We are not the cause,“ said Tsvetan Nedyalkov, a musician from Slavi Trifonov’s band, after the incident at his home.
„Just be careful with electric scooters when people buy them. Really be careful. It turns out that this is something very dangerous,“ Nedyalkov explained.
Similar cases with the „Kugoo“ brand, which has enjoyed a huge market in Europe in the last 24 months, are not missing at all.
According to experts in the field, the hinges of the original scooters, as they are called, have protections against overcharging, but often fail.
The vehicle costs around 6,000 euros, is foldable, delivered nationwide by well-known distributor companies and has a warranty. At the same time, however, there is still no regulation of production standards, especially for the capricious European market.

But, thanks to luck, to God , or on which it is written what should happen to each of us, my colleague and friend and great guitarist Tsvetan Nedyalkov and his son are alive and well. If something had happened to them, I simply don’t know what I would have done,“ he said Trifonov.
When used correctly, scooters are absolutely safe. In 95% of cases, they have at least three protections against electrical installation problems. But I remind you that proper operation is important. These are lithium ion batteries, they should not get wet, they should not be driven in rainy weather.
