Tribute: Here’s Tony Bennett’s cause of death

Today came the sad news that Tony Bennett died at the age of 96.

The news shook the world.

His millions of fans flooded the web with comments of grief.

Tony Bennett died on July 21, 2023 in New York, USA, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

He is survived by four children from two previous marriages and his current wife, Suzanne Crowe, whom he has been married to since 2007.

Tony Bennett is a former American singer who performed jazz and traditional pop music. He was born on August 3, 1926 in New York, USA, born Anthony Dominic Benedetto. He has had a long and successful career, winning 19 Grammy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001. He is known for hits such as I Left My Heart in San Francisco, The Shadow of Your Smile, The Good Life and The Way You Look Tonight. He has collaborated with many famous artists, such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Lady Gaga and others.

Tony Bennett was also an artist who exhibited his paintings under the name Anthony Benedetto. He founded the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, New York to support young talent. He has written several books about his life and art, such as Life is a Gift: The Zen of Bennett and Tony Bennett in the Studio: A Life of Art & Music.
