A Russian woman took a taxi to an exploded factory outside Moscow and stole a mosquito net

A Russian woman became the negative hero of the day in Moscow after she took a taxi to the fire station of the special factory for optical instruments in Sergiev Posad to collect trophy items from there. The heroine was caught on video trying to load a mosquito net into the taxi, which had flown out of the window of a neighboring building as a result of the blast wave at the Zagorsk Optical-Mechanical Plant.

The lady had opened the back door of the car when another woman pounced on top of her and picked up the stolen trophy.

„What does rolling mean, if it’s rolling, it’s probably somebody’s,“ says a male voice, possibly the video’s operator. Under the comments of indignation at her action, the Muscovite retreats back in the taxi.

The explosion at the plant went off on Tuesday, and the blast wave was so strong that all the windows in the surrounding buildings were blown out.

The Zagorsk Optical-Mechanical Plant has an 86-year history and among its pride is „the favorite scope of the General Secretary of the CPSU Leonid Brezhnev“. The plant is part of the Rostec company, a leading developer and manufacturer of military optics.

The bodies of 10 people were found at the site of the explosion, and the death toll may rise.

12 people are missing without a trace.

A total of 60 people were injured, 8 are reported missing.
