I can’t keep quiet, I’m telling what happened to me at auto care services Walmart on the 4th of July, a customer said

A lady told of an unpleasant incident at a Walmart Auto Service in Columbus

Sharon Randolph describes the situation in the Walmart Facebook group.

The incident is on July 4.

Here’s what she wrote on Facebook:

„Walmart auto care services in Columbus, NE nearly ruined my car on July 4th.
I ended up being out $93 for one oil change on a 4 cylinder vehicle. Ashlynn, the auto center team manager, wouldn’t even consider how dirty this oil was that I took back out of my car.

Norman said it is company policy to first tighten the oil pan drain plug and then loosen it. He says he has to do this.

In the process, he completely stripped my oil plan plug and sent me away with the original dirty oil and the car leaking out oil at about a quart per hour (not under pressure).

He lied and said he pumped it out. He lied and said it wasn’t leaking.

Ashlynn thinks the oil being as black as coal is normal for a freshly changed oil change. Ashlynn has no business being the manager of the Walmart Auto Center if she thinks that and she thinks what Norman did on the 4th of July ruining my family’s celebration was at all okay.

The oil change was $50.63.

I then had to immediately get the oil out, buy new oil and oil filter, and find another drain plug for my oil pan.

Ashlynn invited me to bring the oil and talk to her today which was a waste of time as she told me she wasn’t interested in anything I had to say and no even though I brought her receipts, she wouldn’t look at them, which is the other $33 I had to spend.

Unreal, she then wouldn’t give me her last name or a complaint form. Afterwards, she asked me to sign for leaving the dirty oil there at her store. The absolute nerve of some people.

I told her they were supposed to dispose of the oil in the first place.“

No comment from Walmart yet.
